Samir Isayev

Samir Isayev joined Open Government Platform in September 2016. Currently, he Mr. Isayev is chairman of the Legal Think Tank and director of the Law and Business Consulting ltd. He is author of more han 40 articles on topics such as Aarhus Convention, Global Environmental Law, Oil Legislation, Public Participation and National Environmental Legislation. He was as an expert in various projects about environmental monitoring of oil extraction, water legislation etc. between 2001 between 2016. Mr. Isayev has participated in international conferences and meetings related to environmental law and sustainable development. He is member of the Azerbaijan Bar Association and Environmental Law Centre of IUCN, Civil society on EaP programme of EU, Azerbaijan National Public Committee on Eurointegration.

Mr. Isayev holds Master’s degree in Law from the Baku State University.
